Who We Are
Way Out is a new organization with deep roots. We are built on decades of experience working with single women—especially widows—and youth from marginalized communities in India, Africa, and beyond. In many of these communities, generations have faced limited access to education, entrepreneurship, and leadership opportunities. Way Out believes in changing this narrative—by walking alongside local leaders to build pathways of dignity, purpose, and sustainability.

Way Out partners with trusted organizations to equip single women and youth with the skills, leadership, and mentorship they need to thrive. From discovering their gifts to hands-on vocational training, our approach is rooted in community and local wisdom.
Programs
Current Initiatives & Projects
Tailoring
Our tailoring program equips women and youth with hands-on skills in garment making, sewing, and design. Participants learn practical techniques that can lead to sustainable livelihoods, micro-enterprise opportunities, and creative self-expression. Beyond skill-building, the program nurtures confidence, discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Poultry
Through our poultry training, participants gain the knowledge and experience needed to raise chickens sustainably, manage flocks, and run small-scale poultry businesses. This program provides practical income-generating skills, teaches food security practices, and empowers learners to build resilient, self-sustaining livelihoods.
Mentorship & Peer Support
Our mentorship and peer support program connects emerging entrepreneurs with experienced mentors and supportive peers. Participants receive guidance, encouragement, and accountability as they navigate business challenges, personal growth, and leadership development. By fostering community, shared learning, and collaboration, this program helps participants thrive both professionally and personally.

Our Coral Reef Restoration project aims to revitalize degraded coral reefs in Miami through a combination of coral transplantation, artificial reef structures, & community involvement.
